whyyyy. I should've never watched this film it killed me. it's too sad why can't us gay people ever have happy endings. I cried the whole movie, man.

Heart wrenching, yet realistic for its time period. Beautifully filmed, and made me ugly cry

I needed a good cry and I thought this movie was perfect for it. I wasn't wrong but I didn't think that I was gonna end up with this warm feeling as well. beautifully shot, unmatched chemistry between the main characters (the younger ones, I could literally feel how much they loved each other and how difficult it was for them given the circumstances). I didn't expect the end to be like that, I thought it was gonna be nothing but dramatic, so I really liked how everything turned out. it was sad, but hopeful❤️‍🩹

Rewatched 02/22: one of my fav films of all time, and I think it has the most beautiful ending a movie can have. it makes you sit with the question of “whose name is engraved on your heart?” This movie never fails to make me cry but I somehow find comfort in it each time I watch

This movie was honestly kinda sad to me in multiple ways. It’s an LGBTQ movie about this one guy named Jiahan who falls in love with his best friend but they can’t be together because it’s during the times where a lot of people were homophobic and you would get in trouble with it

Such beautifully shot movie but gut-wrenching. I usually don't like this type of ending but this one brought a nice bittersweat feeling to conclude the story.

This was so heartbreaking. No villain, no tragic death just life happening and being unfair to little kids

It was good. The pacing held up, visuals were sharp, and the performances felt authentic. Some scenes dragged, but overall, it left a strong impression.
