whyyyy. I should've never watched this film it killed me. it's too sad why can't us gay people ever have happy endings. I cried the whole movie, man.

Heart wrenching, yet realistic for its time period. Beautifully filmed, and made me ugly cry

I needed a good cry and I thought this movie was perfect for it. I wasn't wrong but I didn't think that I was gonna end up with this warm feeling as well. beautifully shot, unmatched chemistry between the main characters (the younger ones, I could literally feel how much they loved each other and how difficult it was for them given the circumstances). I didn't expect the end to be like that, I thought it was gonna be nothing but dramatic, so I really liked how everything turned out. it was sad, but hopeful❤️‍🩹

Most amazing queer film I have ever seen. I cried so bad at the end. The song plus montage during the credits DESTROYED me😭😭😭😭 This film showed what a real queer experience really looked like. The angst. The thrill. The tension. The confusion. The shame. This film was perfection❤️
