5.5 - this *should be* my jam - quaint, mumblecore, slice of life dramedy, but it didn’t fully connect. I think I’m in a different place personally than the characters & have a different view on relationship honesty/anxiety. Acting is fantastic. For someone, just not me - yet.

I liked this movie. I loved the dynamic of their marriage and theirs sons relationship too. It was a simple funny film that kept me wanting to know how it ended. I love Julia she’s funny

(5/10) usually I love slice of life movies but this one didn't have enough in it and it seemed as though it wasn't really about the marriage or the couple.

tender film exploring kinds of kindness

This movie was for me. It was hilarious with so many witty moments. The characters felt so real, and I think I’ve known them in my real life. As a writer myself, I can only imagine going through this. Pretty funny though.

Kind of a slow going, drawn out movie.
