WWE SummerSlam 2025: Sunday

The matches were phenomenal, well all but one, but still really great matches. My jaw dropped multiple times and I was shocked at how they just threw their body at things. This was also one of Cena‘s best matches that I’ve seen in a long time if ever.

What an amazing night 2! An amazing triple threat for the women’s world championship! Rhea Ripley still can’t beat Iyo Sky as Naomi grabs the tights of Rhea and retains the championship. The next match was the TLC match for the WWE tag team titles and that match was amazing! Lots of great spots! Especially when Candice LeRae fell off the ladder onto another ladder outside. Amazing match overall and the Wyatt Sick retain the tag titles. The next match was for the women’s intercontinental championship between Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria in a no count out and no disqualification and it was an amazing match and in the match Becky was about to hit Lyra with a crow bar but Bayley came out and took the crow bar, then later Bayley had a chain and hit Lyra and Becky retains. The next match was the steel cage match for the United States championship between Solo Sikoa Vs the Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu and it was amazing, the MFT’s came out and Jimmy came out to try an even the odds but it wasn’t enough as Solo escapes the cage and retains. The next match was for the intercontinental championship between “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio Vs. The Phenomenal AJ Styles, great match, Dom outsmarted AJ retains. The main event for night 2 was for the Undisputed WWE championship between John Cena Vs. The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and Cena got his OG entrance back and is back to being a face. Amazing match overall! And Cody Rhodes is the new undisputed WWE champion! What I didn’t expect was for The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar to return to WWE stare down Cena and then hit Cena with an F5! I wonder who Cena faces next now that he has 4 months left in his retirement tour. Same with Cody, what’s next for him?
