World's Greatest Dad
this movie was really dark, and had a confusing character development
at first the dad was giving walter white, then i felt really sorry for him, then he did many immoral things and at the end i related to him very much
he was surrounded by so weird character poor guy
good plot

World's Greatest Dad
this movie was awful from the getgo. i’ve appreciated black comedies, but i feel like this one is pushing the envelope too far and i could barely stomach the movie. granted, being a RW fan could be a bias bc i expect better, but i was throughly disgusted by the plot of this movie

Somewhere between meh and like. I related to the idea of people death-bandwagoning. Really weird show, really weird review.

World's Greatest Dad
Rating: 7.2/10 ⭐️
The Good:
• Dark Satire: The film is a fearless black comedy that explores our culture's hypocritical obsession with tragedy and fame.
• Brilliant Performance: Robin Williams delivers a nuanced and brave performance as Lance Clayton, balancing desperation and comedic brilliance.
• Unflinching Direction: Bobcat Goldthwait's direction is unapologetic, using cringe humor to make sharp social commentary.
The Not So Good:
• Provocative Subject Matter: The film's core subject matter is intentionally provocative and may be off-putting for some audiences.
• Extreme Character: The character of Kyle is designed to be devoid of redeeming qualities, making him difficult to watch.
• Uncomfortable Viewing: The film's commitment to cringe comedy and challenging themes makes it a deliberately uncomfortable viewing experience.
The Verdict:
World's Greatest Dad is a daring and intelligent black comedy that solidifies Bobcat Goldthwait as a unique voice in independent film. With a career-best performance from Robin Williams, it's a searing critique of modern culture that's both unforgettable and thought-provoking. While challenging to watch, it's an essential film for fans of bold satire
