I haven’t even watched it and I know it’s bad 😭

It’s giving CapCut bad animation

It being Disney's 100th,I saw this movie hoping it wouldn't be as bad as the marketing made it look. I was sadly mistaken. With the exception of a couple good songs, this movie felt disjointed with cringe-inducing dialogue and animation that closer resembles a Disney Junior show.

I had big hopes for this being Disney’s 100 year celebration movie, but I feel like it missed the mark some. I enjoyed the references to multiple Disney movies, and the adorable goat and Star, but I only laughed a couple of times, and just wasn’t blown away.

In knowing what the studio is capable of, and in banking so much on this film’s relation to the centennial, we can’t help but wish for something a little more impactful, but I loved finding all the easter eggs from the Disney classics.

Hadn't watched it and I don't think I ever would the original idea for the movie was way better than this.

4.8 - The part of me that’s a sucker for nostalgia loved a lot of this. The rational & honest part of me is lowkey upset with how cheap many of its tricks are. Clearly it is meant to be a celebration of everything Disney has done over the last 100 years, but it leaned too far.

Simultaneously ripping off every Disney movie ever at the same time - anything good those movies had + songs the level of a shitty 2000s Disney channel movie = wish.
Every cheap Disney movie reference just made me wonder why I didn’t see one of those movies instead of this. 2/10

It was cute! Took a bit to get used to the art style but even though some shots were genuinely gorgeous, it did feel sorta cheap at times and Disney Jr.-esque (Sofia the first coded). I did like most of the music and actually really loved the story.

The screenwriters were definitely high when they wrote this.

I generally liked it but I wish they had done some things differently. For starters, Disney doesn’t know how to do villains anymore. I want a villain who I can hate with my whole being, not someone who can be redeemable. And I wish they stuck to Star being the love interest

The aesthetics are really cool - a combo of 3-D animation and watercolor painting - but this might have the worst plot of any Disney movie of the last decade. It is offensively stupid, illogical, and just plain lazy.

The biggest issue of this film are the incredibly forgettable songs (minus 2-3). Otherwise, it was a heartfelt dedication to Disney and I loved the message it relays to us to pursue our wishes and dreams ourselves. Valentino and Star were my faves!

Amazing movie, especially for someone that doesn’t really watch animated stuff. The characters are complex, the songs are fucking fantastic, and the animations are buttery smooth. It’s Disney so i expect this kind of stuff from them. Wish 2 when?😹

Honestly, here the critics are correct. I skipped too much because it's boring. They tried too hard to make her cute. NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS A SONG and if you will then do it well. You can explain something with 4 words 2 people, don't waste 3min singing. Liked the star
