It was okay. I’m so very disappointed in the ending I’m actually annoyed😂 The book’s ending was a million times better. The ending to this movie literally doesn’t compare because it lacked detail and wow factor. This move gets a 5/10 for me. Read the book instead.

I LOVED IT!!! I personally didn't read the book yet so i cannot make that comparison as of now but the cinematics were incredible!!!! The story itself is bloody awesome, a true mystery and the actors were amazing. A type of movie i immediately wanted to rewatch after it ended.

Sweet movie that felt like “The Notebook” had a baby with a John Grisham novel.
Good cast and story. Definitely worth the watch!

pretty slow throughout but the ENDING.

An old-school murder mystery primarily told as a courtroom drama, the paperback adaptation entertains from start to finish. The scripting, the dialogue, the scenery choices, the score, has it all of the pieces to make you feel it’s great pacing and progression.

some of the scenery is very pretty but unfortunately i prefer the book 😞🤓

7/10, sort of expected the twist at the end as the movie started to wrap up. Movie wasn’t what I thought it’d be but it was a cool watch

twist at the end won my respect. more romance films should end praying-mantis-style, the way nature intended.

I thought the 2 guys were the same person so I’m very confused what even is a crawfad like can they stop having sex for 5 seconds this is too much

I loved this movie. Honestly had no expectations for this movie but it was a pleasant surprise. The flow of the whole movie was great. The character development was really good. Kinda slow, but they wrapped up the movie quite nicely and it was a surprising twist at the end!

I really liked this. Daisy Edgar jones was great. The story telling was great and seeing the marsh and its wild life was cool. Great conclusion too.

It was absolutely visually stunning but I wasn’t a fan of the way it was structured and it wasn’t the most accurate to the book

He visto muchas críticas sobre no decidirse qué genero o plan usan para la historia pero yo la considero buena. Comienza con el juicio por un asesinato y para mi la película no se olvida de eso, sino que decide explicar la vida de la prota para entenderla e intercala el presente
