Didn’t expect to like this movie as much as I did. It was predictable at times but the acting itself definitely carried this movie and created a crazy emotional connection

We Own the Night is an amazing story about brotherhood and family bonds, it is a tribute to the person we long to be and the person we need to be for our loved ones!!

Joaquin Phoenix’s performance was great and it really showcased Joaquin’s range. the soundtrack really met the vibe with everyone’s performances. it’s a low tier great movie that killed it. (7/10)

A high stakes family or way of life tug of war. Core cast plays well together.

Very simple, pretty boring, nothing new. His family are cops. He’s a guy in the wrong crowd. He gets asked to be an informant, then accidentally gets in deep with the opposition. Last half of the movie was ok. The final twist was pretty good. 5/10
