As much as I love a nonlinear plot progression, I think this movie would have affected me more if I saw the events in the order they happened. Build me up, break me down, give me hope, and then absolutely demolish my spirit. I personally think it would have worked better that way

Whoever cast together two of the most likeable and dedicated actors is a genius. A gutwrenching love story about life, death and the time in between. It's not okay to do this to me. There's so much realism within the characters, the type that makes you laugh for how cringe or bittersweet moments are. All of it drenched in depression. Peter Parker and Yelena Belova, this is how I'd imagine it. I'd recommend watching it with someone because you really do feel the stark loneliness, even at baby showers. Plus it's a little long and the confusing timeline makes you focus on other things.

Tobias does nothing but wait for/follow Almut. The film’s “unique” non linear storytelling only works for a few scenes, and doing it for the whole movie makes it suffer. Really disappointed.

very sad. liked garfield’s character, pugh’s was complex in a way that made me less invested in her fulfillment. hard watching someone grapple with the hierarchy of remembrance (career vs motherhood). ending was shit bc the skating scene was ridiculously shot. almost a meh rank

The acting and soundtrack were amazing. But I could tell this movie was written by a man before the credits even rolled. A woman who doesn’t want children is reduced to the role of mother.

I think my brain is broken at the moment because this movie did not hit for me, which is mind-blowing because this would usually be the perfect movie for me. I was so ready for this movie to emotionally destroy me and have me sobbing non-stop but I did not even get misty-eyed. This is so out of left field for me because I am such a crier, especially for sad romance movies. I don't know if I'm just in a weird space right now but I think all the jumping around had me confused and I couldn't get into the movie's emotion. Florence and Andrew were amazing and I love them but I'm left feeling conflicted because I had such high expectations and I didn't love it like I thought I would.

5.9/ acting is fantastic, couldn’t expect less from these two, BUT the nonlinear storytelling was not it. I don’t think it was needed, it did not help making the story more interesting. I loved the birth scene tho, but it’s not rewatch worthy.

Loved this movie. It was so heartwarming and wholesome, of course sad as well but I was impressed with how genuinely happy it made me at times. Both Andrew and Florence should be considered for a nomination for best actor/actress at this years Oscar’s because they were so good and natural together. It felt to me as though they were actually married and makes me wish they were haha

Adored this. I thought it was fantastic. Particularly enjoyed the way the story was told and found the pacing perfect. Extremely moving and emotional film. This really delivered. Florence Pugh gives an incredible and beautiful performance. I definitely shed a few tears.

So beautiful, I loved the way they told the story and the ending they decided to give it. Andrew and Florence put on a wonderful performance and I cried multiple times throughout it.
