We Live in Time

As much as I love a nonlinear plot progression, I think this movie would have affected me more if I saw the events in the order they happened. Build me up, break me down, give me hope, and then absolutely demolish my spirit. I personally think it would have worked better that way

this is so painful yet so beautifully written and executed. i know people are upset about the ending but it really is an incredible full circle and showcases life’s best and worst moments. almut got the closure she wanted. tobias got the loving last months. ella will know her mom

I haven’t even watched this but I’d like everyone to know they filmed part of this at a co op 2 mins away from my house

Although I think the time jumping at the beginning was a little off putting, the pacing eventually evened out more and by then I was hooked. Fantastic acting and tells a good story

i feel like i just got punched in the stomach. i’ve seen a lot of people say that the nonlinear story doesn’t work, but i think it really helps with building parallels and helping the movie feel like a celebration of life rather than a nonstop depressing journey
