Yes it traumatized me as a kid yes it still haunts me but damn I’ve never been able to look at nature the same and humanity sucks but so do animals… we’re all animals

Heard lots of videos on this talking about how disturbing it is. And it can get pretty violent with a lot of blood especially for something rated U. Bit I enjoyed it, an interesting story with some heart racing moments, pretty sad. I really liked the animation, felt antique?

Not as brutal as some have made this out to be, but they definitely didn't give a fuck in 1978 in that it would traumatize a young kid. Strangely enough, it's a beautifully made animated film with a thrilling survival story about these rabbits finding their new home.

Really good movie adaptation of a book

Here because of Donnie Darko

It was very metaphorical, biblical, and deep. At times it was really gripping and had great moral themes. Good for teenagers and up.

gorgeous animation style

Jag är en jävel för gammal animation. Älskade worldbuildingen och loren de byggt upp kring handlingen. Skådespelarna var bra, (John Hurt, som alltid) animationen likaså. Vet ej om jag skulle visa denna för barn dock, men den är fortfarande bra och sevärd!

Gorgeous movie and the kinda thing a child would watch and be haunted by for years. Been watching a lot of that genre lately tbh
