Watching the Detectives Reviews

Cillian Murphy is so fucking fine????

It’s the same things happening over and over, gets repetitive but does remain a lightweight comedy. There’s a good message about living life (and not staying indoors watching films all the time. A message I should take in).

Actually really liked it and I don’t like too many romantic films. Cillian Murphy and Lucy Liu are my favorites and they had great chemistry. I always appreciate seeing a romantic female lead that actually looks like me. Chaotic but the good kind!

actually i loved this movie but violet (lucy liu) is so insufferable- i could not STAND her for the whole movie. she was so annoying and pick me and i just wanted her to leave 💀 but she did make the plot (in the most annoying way possible tho)

it’s just a prank bro

I think it’s kinda shitty what she did in the end to him but he was okay with it so🤷‍♀️.
I mean, I enjoyed it but lucy liu’s character definitely made me cringe at times.

I thought their dynamic was kind of weird in the beginning but by the end I warmed up to Violet after thinking she was just crazy. She literally made his life into a movie.

me and who??

a cute and funny rom-com that holds the spirit of others from this era while putting its own spin on the genre. an insane yet successful acting matchup, i appreciated the nerdy energy and references made throughout. what a pair

this movie is ass but i enjoyed cillian murphy crying and running like a toddler at the end

So adorable! I love anything cillian Murphy’s in but this is such a wholesome movie, love the cast

This movie drove me to madness…in the best way possible.

10/10. my only problem with this movie is that it’s too short

I like this movie overall was strange at times but I enjoyed myself while watching it
