I’m a casual WoW fan but I thoroughly enjoy this movie. The pacing, CGI and acting are wonky at times and you can tell they try and force some fanfare and references, but this is a fun fantasy flick with epic action - especially Orc scenes. I’d gladly watch again and again.

Warcraft has some good moments but mostly it's a huge disappointment.

Never played the game but this is an incredibly immersive movie. It's like a worse version of Guardians of the Galaxy and Lord of the Rings. The SFX and VFX are insane, a lot better than some of the practical work but what makes this amazing is the fantasy of orcs, wizards, kings, and all sorts. I loved the pacing and story, definitely needed an hour more. Acting and dialogue could've been way better. I wasn't expecting a big-budget adaptation of Warcraft but 2016 was a jam-packed and weird year. This managed to slip straight through, not making its audience and losing its sequel, which I hope they end up doing. Ratings might change though as I'm unsure, especially without a sequel.

If you play WOW you’re probably mixed on this movie, if you don’t you either will think it’s entertaining or you’ll be lost. I was entertained even though I’ve never played WOW.

As someone who knows NOTHING about the source material this wasn’t half bad.
I was a tad confused on some parts, but hey that’s fantasy 🤷🏾‍♀️
I’d lowkey give it a 4/5
Wish they got to finish the story they set up

I dont even care about the game or anything they shoudlve made this a trilogy.

4/8/26: I’ve played Warcraft like 2 times and each time I got bored by the battle strategy and did not want to continue. This movie is sooo rich in story though, it makes me curious about the game lol! They should have made a sequelllll,, they still can!! Pls someone fund a sequel <3333 also so cool in 3D omg

only if they did the movie about arthas, it woulve been perfect

The orc tribe cheif guy dying is the worst part of the movie why did he have to die like that omfg

It could be cool I think but it just fell a little flat to me

As a WoW player, i liked it as a separate movie not tied but inspired on the game

The cgi lowkey slapped. It’s a shame there are no plans for another film considering how it ended

It has its flaws, but I can't help to love it, plus the cgi looks pretty great

I have never played the game, so I know nothing of the lore behind this film, but I think that would make me someone who would be less critical of it. I just didn’t really care about any of these characters. Like most video game adaptations, a very mid film!
