Awesome movie about a volcano eruption in Los Angeles.

I’ve watched this movie countless times over the years, and I feel as if it’s become a classic disaster movie!

I recently rewatched this, and maybe it's the nostalgia clouding my judgment but I think it holds up for the most part.

This was an awesome movie. It was a mindless action film but so well done throught, which also allowed to show off the best of humanity.

Love a good disaster movie! Had a great cast too!

Great movie. I recommend.

It's entertaining, but cartoonish next to Dante’s Peak. Still, watching lava chase cars downtown? Chef’s kiss of absurd 90s disaster cinema.

Quite a spectacle, probably not too bad for its time.
But what BS, lava sloshes through the city and everyone stoically continues to follow procedures?? 🤣

The grandma in the acid scene always gets me 😢🥹

Watched this a long time ago. But still meh about it. Dante’s peak is better imo

Very unexpected It may be a little bit slow in the beginning, but it’s worth a watch.

I usually love movies like this but for some reason this was way too dramatic in my opinion like they definitely should have died in the beginning also the whole plot of the black guy like come on. plus asking the person who knows about volcanoes to look for his daughter?? weird

It’s entertaining. Nothing special but good random movie for movie night
