The only Hitchcock film that has ever left me feeling bored and unmoved. As a diehard Jimmy Stewart fan I was disappointed. The male gaze can die. ​​​​​​​​​​

good movie but i feel so bad for the femele characters of this film, they didn’t deserve that

I know it’s regarded as cinematic masterpiece, and while there are shots that I’m sure were groundbreaking at the time, the story just felt dragged out and boring and then it suddenly just ends! This is only the second Hitchcock film I’ve seen before, and it’s not my favorite.

so long. so boring. ngl i did honestly stop watching it halfway through bc i couldn’t deal anymore
