oh god the things tom hardy does to me. i freakin love this movie so much 100/10. i would date venom if i could. i said what i said and meant what i meant don’t judge.

I love Venom! I adore the fact that they are both in love with En (I find it funny), and I love that Venom adores Eddie, and Eddie feels comfortable with him. I wish I could have a "parasite" like Venom. I love the irony they used in the movie, and I'm starting to prefer⬇️

I’m a sucker for origin stories, comedy, and everything this movie is.

a solid movie and one i’ve seen countless times.
personally i don’t think Tom Hardy fits the role of Eddie but I think that’s because i’m comparing to the comics.
if you love a good anti-hero and have nothing better to do, venom is a sound option.

Hardy’s chaotic performance gives the film weird charm. Venom & Eddie's bizarre bromance works surprisingly well, & the story while flawed moves quickly. I like that their connection is genuine, mutual instead of Eddie being manipulated by rage like in the comics.

I remember how much hope I had for the Sony-Spiderman-Spinoff-Universe. There's so much that makes this memorable. The colour scheme fits the antihero atmosphere and the voice/acting is delicious. The action and fight sequences seep through the screen, especially with the insane visuals. The pace prepares you for the humourous tag team and the soundtrack/score seems like it has symbiote-friendly frequencies. Not the best writing but the damage mostly comes from Sony actively ruining its reputation with a billion (somehow 60x worse) copies of this. "Eyes, lungs, pancreas...so many snacks, so little time." - Sony to Venom.

It ony a movie

This movie could’ve been so much better, Tom Hardy’s version of Eddie Brock is nothing like what he is in the comics. Venom’s Design is pretty decent but the voice just doesn’t match. You can tell Sony is trying to start there own Marvel Universe with Spider-Man Villans. Oh well.

The perfect plane movie. Decent visual effects, good humor, and you can miss parts without rewinding. Full disclosure though, I did not watch this on a plane 😂

This movie has funnyish moments but boy is this movie some absolute slop 4.5/10

i liked this plenty, a little weak in parts, but i liked the ending and venom in general. mrs chen 🥵
