V/H/S

It wasn’t an awful movie, I just didn’t enjoy it too much. I enjoy a movie with a good story and likable characters, but with this movie I hated ever single set of characters.
Tw intense gore, nudity, SA scenes, slurs

I’m still trying to figure out what I watched. I liked the different stories I just think it started slow. And I wanted to see the resolution to a couple of those stories lol. But it was entertaining and spooky enough.

Close meh but some of the acting is really good & I appreciate the cgi esp for the time. Also ti west is one of the directors so okay we have an icon in the room with us…. Lotta boobs, lotta screaming, & incoherent gibberish… I like the concept but kinda boring at times… however

Certainly there were moments that were scary. The short of the woman alone in her apartment specifically. However, most of this felt really cheesy and almost every moment felt predicated on misogyny and/or the sexual assault of women. I know there’s a fine line in horror but this just felt so gratuitous and unnecessary, especially when it is so constant.

Was really bummed because I have loved the creators’ other works. There was promise in some of these but overall just left me feeling gross, and not the kind you usually want from horror.
