The Punisher: One Last Kill Reviews

I think I love what it could’ve been more than what it is, but that’s fine. love to see frank no matter what.

my only complaints are: if they could make it as long as it is, why couldn’t they add 15 minutes to make it feel less rushed? the choices for the length of certain scenes were really odd. I think this would’ve benefited from a few more slower scenes rather than long, ‘trying to be entertaining’ scenes. I also would’ve enjoyed some action without music just to hear some good sound effects but that’s not my biggest concern. I kind of felt let down at the end, like that’s it? I almost don’t get why it was even made for it to be that short when the concept is essentially “frank is sad, but now frank has to kill people”.

As someone who’s never watched the original Netflix show, this was a really cool view into the Punisher’s backstory and where he is today, AND it made me really want to check out the OG series.

The editing was top notch showing his broken mental state, the emotion was definitely there, and the action scenes were top tier. Can’t wait to see him in Brand New Day, and I really enjoyed this short and sweet special!

soo good. I love anything with Frank in it. it really explored the depth of his grief and his mental health while also still maintaining the action

As a person who hasn’t watched any of the punisher series, I absolutely loved this. I connected with the emotional parts, I was blown away by the editing of the mental parts, and the action was 1000000% thrill. I am going to happily rewatch this and I can’t wait to see him again this summer in Spider-Man. I only wish it was longer. This feels like the intro to something really interesting

I wanted to love this, but the reason I didn’t was because of the cliffhanger it was left on. I wish we had more, but I will say it is a great set up for Spider-Man Brand New Day. I haven’t seen that yet but it gives me a feel as to why Frank Castle is a wanted man. They did a great job showing the effects of both PTSD and loss. Keeping to Franks Grudgy self. Also they did a great job on the soundtrack.

Pretty hilarious that it’s just 50 mins of him murdering an entire town all to set up him being able to chill with a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man

Pretty solid short! Good action and I love how Frank ends up in this, seems like now that his personal punisher ways are done, he can start doing the REAL public vigilantism. Some of the acting was a liiittle corny, but overall I didn’t mind it! Can’t wait for Spider-man: BND🔥

Never watched the series- this was js my hw for Spider-Man bnd. Love a bit of action too.

7.4/10 - this was great. i didn’t realize how much i missed frank… glad he was able to get his full revenge and complete his arc. this would’ve been even better if it was a bit longer. can’t wait to see him in brand new day!

08/10 👀👀👌👌 It really felt like a first mini series entry and not a stand alone. Great, solid 8 stars. Would be 10 stars if the story continued.
Hopefully this is s set up for something in daredevil, or future punisher content. Keep it coming though, Berthenol is born for this role. I enjoyed the elements of severe mental health issues driving him.

we can all agree this shit was too short of a runtime. it deserved a full feature. seamed like an episode from the series and not a movie tbh.

Nice seeing the punisher kick some butt on screen again. Lots of fighting and is bloody. Would’ve loved a full movie or another season but no big deal.

You could feel the low budget of this. I personally don’t think Berthal’s punisher is a good main character. He works best as a side dude to the main story.

Its just entirely Frank losing it and killing people, I know they are going to water him down for Spiderman but hopefully they manage to keep how badass he is

John Wick 5

8/10 loved seeing prime Frank and that La vie en rose apartment scene was peak 🥹 just wish it was longer less than an hour is criminal

I love Jon Bernthal and I love the Punisher. But this was just an excuse to give us John Wick style Punisher content. It’s a rehashing of the show (which is far better). Its editing is messy/jarring. The action is cool but it takes a while to get it. What was that roof fall shot?
