A disappointing film that definitely didn't meet my expectations.


Before watching this film I saw a lot of reviews where people said how funny this film is and how they laughed out loud nearly every minute. I didn't find that to be the case at all. Maybe it's just not for me.

So funny and absurd. There are so few smartly written comedies these days, but hopefully this is a sign of what’s to come! I hope Liam Neeson does more comedies. It will probably make @mckur uncomfortable though. :)

Some of the bits are amazing, some real corny, and some bad. But again, some are amazing. It tries too hard to be hip, really, really don’t like that.

Far less consistently funny than the originals, but at least you can tell they respected the source material

I get its absurdist comedy but it feels like movie is made around these gags . But gags should help the movie not be built around. I just feels they had rough ideas for stupid jokes and built a movie around it. I didn’t like it

One of the absolute funniest fucking movies of all time, genuinely

Made me laugh more than any other movie made in recent years! I don’t think I’ll be able to take Liam Neeson seriously anymore, he’s too perfect for this role. Also the bad guys plan is pretty much exactly the same in Kingsman. For me it’s better than 2 and 3 and on par with 1

Erster Film der Reihe den ich gesehen habe. Einige lustige Witze, aber auch viele unlustige. Die Story ist grösstenteils belanglos. Der Pinguin ist verrückt.

Few funny jokes but it will never live up to the first ones

Really disappointed with this movie, not even that funny and the storyline is just dumb. Please save your time and money, not worth it.

Just too corny for me

It's exactly as advertised but I really struggled to get into the classic corny humor and slapstick shtick. I generally enjoyed Liam Neeson and Pam Anderson in the lead roles. Based on early positive reviews, I hoped the collective experience of seeing this in a theater would help but there were scarce laughs in our local cinema.

Also pretty annoyed that so many of the quality jokes were spoiled in the trailer. As always, modern movie trailers are the absolute worst.

Horrible just horrible

Liam Neeson is a serious actor but he is the reason why the cringey humor works in this movie.

I really enjoy this type of slapstick comedy. So stupid, but so funny. Truly this movie just stole storylines from other movies, but it was still such a fun time. They don’t make stuff like this anymore.

Personally not a fan of slapstick comedy so this movie was really hard for me to watch. I didn’t watch the trailer so I was expecting more of a realistic action comedy. Prob got two good laughs out of me but that’s it. It felt like white people version of Scary Movie just worse.

Sooo funny!!! Not what I expected but a fun comedy if you’re fine with everything being a joke and lowkey losing brain cells

A parody film that ends up folding into a parody of itself. I expected juvenile jokes and brainy references, and at first, that's just what we got. However, as the plot deliberately descended into predictability, so did the comedy. Maybe it needs a second watch, since I've already forgotten half of it. The biggest problem for me, though, was the casting. The actors are all talented, but for these roles, they feel somewhat miscast. Especially Neeson. He's a little hoarse, and I'm not talking pony. Maybe on a second watch, I'll give it a 7, but for now, it's a 6/10.
