aesthetically pleasing but very over stimulating/anxiety inducing in a way that didn’t add much. it feels like it was trying to be ~different~ by being paced in *that way* but it just came off as an unpleasant attempt at capturing the life style they think NYers have.

One of the most stressful films I’ve ever watched. Throughout the entire film I found myself mad at the decisions he kept making, but also wanting him to succeed. At the end I started thinking it would all come together, only for that twist to make me mad thinking that it could.

What a movie.
Adem Sandlers' performance is a sight to be hold.
The over stimulating nature of this film, while not for everyone, I think, is a really good vibe for this film, considering how intense both the business and social life is in the main characters' life. W film. 9/10

Adam Sandler was just screaming at me the whole time. The story was not interesting enough to compensate for the overacting. I just came out of it wishing I had ear plugs. He’s a talented guy, but this one was not it for me.

A film of pure stress and anxiety, but in the best way possible. This is definitely one of Adam Sandler’s best performances. The way that he plays Howard is just phenomenal. The whole plot is just incredible and shows why gambling is one of the worst things ever created. So good.

Fire movie. Didn’t see the end coming.

Woww. I’ve been wanting to watch this for a while and it did not disappoint. Definitely gave me anxiety from all of the chaos and fast pace but I was deeply invested. Adam Sandler did incredible! This film proves his versatility. But don’t even get me started on the ending

Anxiety inducing and well made. The Safdoe brothers deliver a breathtaking and frankly powerful movie. With a magnificent performance by Adam Sandler, who presented the fact that he is a versatile actor.

the most frustrating film i swear, my goddd i wanted to scream!! how can people live like that?! violent, loud, and just this side of too crazy. he deserved everything that happened to him, occasionally i couldn't help but feel bad for him, but he got what he deserved

Decent overall, but the story had me hooked from start to finish chaotic in the best way. The cast is stacked with talent, and I’ve got to say it: I love Adam Sandler in this role. He turned stress into art, and I couldn’t look away.

Fast paced and frantic.

Incredible style. the camera movement matches perfectly with the intensity of the scenes. It makes you feel like you are in Howie's mind.

Just a series of transactional nightmares… only liking because of Julia fox lol she was so cute
