aesthetically pleasing but very over stimulating/anxiety inducing in a way that didn’t add much. it feels like it was trying to be ~different~ by being paced in *that way* but it just came off as an unpleasant attempt at capturing the life style they think NYers have.

One of the most stressful films I’ve ever watched. Throughout the entire film I found myself mad at the decisions he kept making, but also wanting him to succeed. At the end I started thinking it would all come together, only for that twist to make me mad thinking that it could.

What a movie.
Adem Sandlers' performance is a sight to be hold.
The over stimulating nature of this film, while not for everyone, I think, is a really good vibe for this film, considering how intense both the business and social life is in the main characters' life. W film. 9/10

One of my favorite movies, Adam Sandler can play any type of character. Howard taught me a lot how to move as a businessman and not to get caught up in the wrong crowds, also I like that he is a family man at heart and wants to be loved/seen. A big lesson learned is that when you win in gambling you actually lose because of what happens to Howard at the end. “ this is how I win” is an iconic line and ultimate feeling.

It’s a crime Adam was not nominated this movie had me on my toes the whole time. And that’s exactly how I like it never boarded tension from the start to the end

This film never lets you catch your breath. I started watching it feeling pretty tired, but it’s impossible to stay that way. The tension, the score, and the performances all come together beautifully, resulting in a masterfully crafted piece of tension-driven cinema. It pulls you in and doesn‘t let you go.
