Good Time

I know this movie kind of gets a lot of hate but I don’t know why. It’s a messed up story obviously but a very engaging one none the less. I find Robert Pattinson’s character tragic and compelling for all the wrong reasons. This movie keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Good times are not in fact had. Great movie and great acting by Robert Pattinson!

Similar to it’s Safdie brother counterpart Uncut Gems in pace, I found Good Time to be more digestible. A champion brother, emotionally portrayed by Pattinson, tries to do what’s best for his bro while doing all the wrong things along the way. A modern Lennie and George OM&M stry

dark, chaotic, and depressing. same feeling i got watching uncut gems. so good tho. rob pat killed it.

These guys did not have a good time and neither did I.

calmly chaotic (compared to anora’s loud chaos) and very uncomfortable, mostly in a good way except for one scene that was a bit too much. a snowballing accumulation of bad decisions and misfortune leading to a satisfying end.
