My mom accidentally bought tickets for this instead of Glen Powell’s Twisters. It was an okay film.

Great movie! Felt like I was back home!

1996 was a great year for movies, and Twister is no exception. This is a wild ride through some of the worst disasters nature has the ability to inflict. This film is a lot of fun, and is worth a watch for the audio alone. Watch with surround sound for best experience.

I do not ship them though he is so ugly and she is definitely gay so I don’t like when movies try to lie to me about those things because I know what is right

Hilarious line delivery and cgi which I’d usually like but I could not get past how insufferable Bill was. Really didn’t like him or the weird romance thing. I usually prefer originals over remakes or sequels but I definitely prefer Twisters here

the passion from the main characters for something as terrifying as natural disasters kept me more intrigued than i thought id be. hyped me up a lot for the new one. pretty great acting/pace/plot/cinematography for its time - but very excited to see new technology in play

This is set in Oklahoma the state that I live in and I personally love it.

I don’t know why I went into this expecting it to be a little cheesy but this movie really surprised me. It had great suspenseful moments, good character moments, great practical sets and stunts and some pretty impressive visual effects for a 90’s movie

Gets me excited for twisters

a lot better than i was expecting, gearing up for the big bad boy new one with Glen Momel

the tornado movie

I had completely forgotten this on rewatch. It started off amazing and then gradually blew insanely off course. Speilberg had his money marks all over this, the real story isn't about the tornados, it's about human relationships, and to have a cast so individually involved makes things feel so much more team-like. To have that scene of 'The Shining' playing, Jan De Bont brings nothing but his genius. The production of the CGI and practicality is what I hope I see in 'Twisters'. The reason this fails is down to the never-ending end of continuous ends. Other than that, iconic.

ARE YOU OKAY

This amazing classic, starring Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, still stands the test of time. The plot of the film and the feel of it are exhilarating as our two leads are constantly on the chase to catch the next storm. 4.5 out of 5.

It’s amazing how great this movie is. Rewatched it since the sequel is coming out and it has great action and suspense and crazy storms! Definitely worth a rewatch if it’s been awhile since you’ve seen it!
