Acting was really really good. Jeff Bridges was particularly great along with Hailee Steinfeld. Deals with some serious themes but also has its comedy. Solid movie I’d recommend to just about anyone

i feel like you can tell when jeff bridges chooses to just do the grumpy old
man with soft interior schtick instead of like really committing idk…. it was fine but i think im gonna read the book bc it felt like it was missing something imo
