Dunham and Fry perform perfectly as a slightly neurotic daughter and carefree unserious dad. It’s maybe a typical post holocaust film, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I love to see a true story coming to life. With some improvement across the board it could be great.

I’m not a fan of movies that talk about the Holocaust usually. My grandma’s stories, visiting Auschwitz as a 10 year old etc. have been just a bit too traumatizing. This movie was great though. The storytelling, the humor, the depiction of polish culture. Highly recommend
