Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

I’ll have to say that the ratings are a bit harsh, it’s a decent film, but it’s not amazing. For an action film, it’s a decent watch, and Michael B Jordan is great in the role, but the only complaint I have is the fact that it didn’t really feel like a Tom Clancy title. 7.4/10

Keeping my Tom Clancy binge going. Wanted to love it, but it felt like a super generic action movie to me.

What Worked:
• Michael B. Jordan totally carries it with his physical intensity.
• The action scenes looks slick and really kept my adrenaline up.
• Jodie Turner-Smith gives the story the bit of heart I honestly needed.

The Friction:
• Predictable plot twists really dragged the momentum down for me.
• It strips away the book’s complex politics for a standard payback flick.
• Clunky dialogue made connecting with the side characters tough for me.

The Verdict:
Watch to see MBJ be a powerhouse. Skip if you want deep espionage thrills.
