Overrated boring caried by two performances that couldn’t bring it full circle for me

PTA Masterpiece. The milkshake scene and the scene where Daniel must repent are all time greats. I'll watch those scenes by themselves on YouTube occasionally. TWBB or No Country for Old Men?

Paul Dano is crazy in this movie

Plunges into the darkest depths of the human heart, where Business is religion & Religion is business. DDL is of course absolutely magnetic. Amazing cinematography. Hypnotizing scenes. Unsettling sound design. Thought-provoking quotes about milkshakes... Brilliant, but nihilistic

Capitalism just really be doing that to people.
