Overrated boring caried by two performances that couldn’t bring it full circle for me

This shit has a 93 (93 !?!?) on Metacritic?? This is a movie pretentious people who call themselves “Film Critics” say they like, but say that just to fit in with others. First Act was actually good, absolutely mind-numbing boring after that; Ending was for shock value only.

PTA Masterpiece. The milkshake scene and the scene where Daniel must repent are all time greats. I'll watch those scenes by themselves on YouTube occasionally. TWBB or No Country for Old Men?

Didn’t know anything about this movie beforehand minus that it has great ratings and that scene where daniel confesses his sins. Overall, I was confused with the turn it took but still enjoyed it, totally didn’t turn out how I thought it would. Thought it would just be oil mining

In the end he didn’t deserve to die
