This movie is currently my favorite movie ever. The story is great, but the ending is sad. It’s a great story and I recommend it to all.

this movie is beautiful. you can feel the passion and devotion the protagonist has to his planes, and then this passion shifting towards something even more dear to him, Nahoko. their love was so tender and the ending is so incredibly sad.

Not the most memorable film but beautiful

Fantastic, new favorit Ghibli movie. The relationship between Jiro and Naoko was so lovely. Which sadley made it even harder to watch how it turned out in the end. Also loved how they portrayd the airplane designing progress. One of my favorit movies ever now to be honest

i loved this very much. what a beautiful and heart-wrenching film about war and romance. i feel like this is yet another social commentary piece by miyazaki, against war and militarization. nahoko and jiro's love was deeply touching, you could tell how much they adored each other

a truly gorgeous film, making you think of purpose, and what’s important to you, as well as beautiful to watch, as always from Ghibli

Watched this 6 months ago but I decided i loved this more than just liking it, the story really stuck with me.

I thought it would be way more romantic. It’s more of an airplane movies and I’m not a fan of airplanes

as a chronic illness girl, i think jiro is soo sweet! i feel like even tho we are ill, we deserve to be loved truly.
