One I’ve been meaning to watch for a while in the folk horror universe of film. There’s so much to praise here, from the script to the beautiful daylight cinematography. I love how you can interpret the story in so many ways. As a huge Midsommar fan, this is a true treat!

Insane and very funny as an atheist. Loved it and am going to also watch nic cages wicker man soon. This one i would say 8/10

Lee and Woodward’s performances were terrific. Glad I gave this film a second chance

I honestly thought it was great, there’s certain scenes that just provoke uncomfortably and make you unsure of what’s actually happening on this island!!!
Ps. It also reminds me of a darker and more religious “Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory”, honestly it’s probably just all the singing and dancing tho😂😂

Religion in a nutshell. That said, I definitely rooted for the cult.

An incredibly original Folklore Horror movie! If you liked Midsommar, you might like this one too. Although I love Nicolas Cage, skip the remake.
