The Wicker Man

a new favorite for sure, absolutely incredible atmosphere and story, i was hooked throughout the entire movie!

very thought provoking movie that brings into question religion and morals with an interesting premise

inferior to the nic cage remake

This is between a meh and a like for me. There was a lot I liked but a lot I didn’t.. I have a very difficult time with films from the 70s in general- I don’t think stylistically they hold up and can be pretty cheesy. The singing and music choice is what really put me off lol

Police goes to a island to find a missing girl
He stays somewhere where a daughter is tryna seduce him
He then finds the girl in a cult ritual and saves her but turns out it was all planned and then faked the missing kid to capture the cop to kill him

When the movie is extremely odd and has great vibes. 🤤🤤🤤
