Out of all the movies I’ve seen I’ve never had one hit me like that before. I could be overdoing it when I say that but this is exactly the type of film I’ve been looking for and I’ll definitely be thinking about it for awhile

If you are a Christian, this movie may not be for you. It seemed like the entire premise of this movie was to bash Christianity. Now, if you aren’t a Christian and want to watch phenomenal performances by amazing actors, this is the one for you!

Everything was thoughtful about this movie. From the choice of film to the lighting to the dialogue to the characters, just layers upon layers to make this a masterpiece. Pay attention to everything and such a simple story will deliver a multitude of meaning.

800 lb zesty man cringe

offensive trauma porn made by and for thin people about how awful they imagine being fat to be. does not reflect the realities of being over 500 lbs and treats the main character not with empathy but with a sort of cruel pity

Such a great movie. It was raw with emotion and the story was beautifully told. It didn’t feel like you were watching a movie, it felt so personal and real. if you watch in theaters make sure to take some tissues.

Not a great movie. Wasted several hours on an airplane watching this.

His relationship with his daughter makes no sense, and his care taker feeds him nothing but garbage while he’s having heart failure? All around not great. 2/10

the ending was…interesting, and predictable. the acting was overly theatrical (looking at you, sadie) and it was very boring at parts.

I have contrasting feelings… the writers make you feel pity for Charlie but actually Charlie you’re miserable and incredibly selfish I don’t like you. I also didn’t quite understood why they put these hints of other massages like religious faith and in general Thomas character.

Felt like a bad play. Everyone over acted so much it was uncomfortable. Brendan Fraser was the only good thing but not the come back performance I had hoped for.

This movie definitely succeeded, keeping me emotionally involved. I enjoyed how the whole movie took place in Charlie’s apartment because it puts us in his perspective since he never leaves his apartment9/10

i was sobbing uncontrollably but that last transition to the beach.. deadpan. went from 😢 to 😐 real quick. almost laughed
