The Whale

Out of all the movies I’ve seen I’ve never had one hit me like that before. I could be overdoing it when I say that but this is exactly the type of film I’ve been looking for and I’ll definitely be thinking about it for awhile

If you are a Christian, this movie may not be for you. It seemed like the entire premise of this movie was to bash Christianity. Now, if you aren’t a Christian and want to watch phenomenal performances by amazing actors, this is the one for you!

But i’ll give Brendon Fraser the benefit of the doubt he did good

I knew Brendan Fraser could act but this felt very deep and raw with emotions that felt very real and it was something I liked the most about this film.

The story was a very sad one and the film obviously isn’t happy at all but I think watching films with a more sad tone is something I like the most due to the emotion it brings out in the film watcher and the different emotions the film has in general.

The story felt pretty well written and obviously every film has it’s flaws but they don’t matter as much when you pay attention to the relationships between the characters and the characters overall and how they interact with each other because that’s the key here in my opinion along with Charlie’s own point of view and how he navigates the life he lives.

Apparently I had a lot to say about this film but I enjoyed it and felt a lot of different emotions when watching it and I think it’ll stick with me for a little while.
