Great film. Welcome back Dakota Johnson.

A dull, overcomplicated mess of a film. "The Watchers" never achieves the level of suspense or horror it wants to portray and instead ends up being bloated and bizarre. Terrible dialogue, boring plot twists, anticlimactic ending, all around a very dismal experience. 3/10

The first third of this movie was genuinely entertaining and pretty good. And then whatever the FUCK that last 2/3’s was, I’m pissed.

You want a movie about fae creatures that come at night that’s ACTUALLY scary and entertaining because it’s wild and crazy? Look up “Unwelcome” 2023. You’re welcome.

Interesting to see Ishana Night Shyamalan’s directorial debut but unfortunately there is way too much telling and not enough showing in this lackluster thriller. Characters aren’t captivating enough to really hold your attention & neither is the plot, despite the multiple twists

This was only okay. I wasn’t too into it. Beginning was mysterious but the plot reveal was a bit of a let down for me. There was a little bit of tension but it lost me pretty quickly. This was slow and uneventful. There was potential here but the film was significantly lacking.

I wished the characters were a little more developed? We only really know the backstory of our main character, and even that one felt kind of flat, the “twist” at the end i predicted halfway through the movie, and while not necessarily bad just predictable. Some of the lines-

Horrible movie. Horrible dialogue, extremely boring sequence of events, the way some of these characters were written was kind of mind boggling.
But I have to admit I did like the lore and design of the creatures. Also I didn’t absolutely hate the ending.

It gets more hate than it deserves but it definitely could have been a lot better. My biggest issue was the lack of question dakota asks in the movie. Never any follow up questions or even a “how do you know these things”. Not once. Just goes with whatever is happening.

i wasnt sure about how i felt about this movie but it just kept getting better as i watched more. def a psychological "wtf did i just watch" type of movie

Didn’t finish. Dialogue felt shallow. Couldn’t really get into the movie. Wasn’t my kind of thing I guess.

This could have been much better. So boring and dull. Good seeing Dakota Fanning though. Okay plot twist, nothing special.

I didn’t get the hype. Moved slow and nothing really happened the entire movie
