Kinda boring but good ending

This was when the wheels started falling off the bandwagon Shymalan bandwagon. People kept expecting the twist of the 6th Sense. This didn't have one, but it's a great little movie that forces you to confront the small horrors we permit as a society to keep true brutality at bay.

I don’t care what anyone says; this movie is one of M. Night Shyamalan’s finest works. (I know, I know, that’s not saying a lot. Let me have this okay?)

So what if my favorite part of this movie is Ivy holding her hand out scared COMPLETELY CONFIDENT that Lucius is will come for her? So what if I love love? What are you going to do about it?

Way too damn slow for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ that twist was not giving earth shattering twist. It was okay to me, lowkey feel like I’ve seen this before somehow? But also not. Idk I don’t think I recommend

Almost put this as loved. Super underrated, and i don't know why more people love this movie. The twist was surprising and a great shift to put Bryce Dallas Howard as the main character. I loved that the monster was never real. Made the mystery of it all more intriguing. 8/10
