The most overhyped movie on the planet

Ending was mediocre and the movie dragged and was just overall boring

The only good part was when they finally met and went on the car ride but even that was interrupted by nonsense scenes that just didn’t need to be in the movie

It was slow burn at its best. Every shot deserves a praise, the color gradient and scenery felt like I am in an aesthetic moodboard. The iconic scene will be the bleak ending, still horrifying me to this day.

Holy shit what a surprise. This was a fantastic movie from start to finish. Such a simple yet compelling story told to perfection.

Chilling, sad but never depressing, engaging without a second to be disinterested. Incredibly interesting and ‘indifferent?’ killer. Great movie

The horror of seeking closure amplified by the casualness and ease of real world evil. The true terror is in how simple the antagonists’ actions can be accomplished. Great double feature with Insomnia.

Reminded me a lot of the house that jack built showing the trial and error with elements of luck and fate that led for the films plot to take place

Really slow paced movie not really that exciting.

A view into the cost of knowledge via choice. The analytical research was interesting. Didn’t feel the payoff equaled the time commitment.

One of the most devastating and terrifying mystery films ever made

Interesting film that keeps you non stop involved in the plot other worth noticing aspect is the ending that leaves you with feeling of emptiness that you will remember for a long time

It was interesting to follow this from the perspectives of the protagonist and the antagonist. It's usually one or the other, and sometimes having a bleak ending works better than a typical one.

Overrated. Liked the ending and the overall creepiness but that's about it.
The acting was shockingly terrible in major scenes which was disappointing and put me off, the plot didn't really grab my attention idk maybe because it dragged a little.

Decent crime thriller from the killer’s point of view. Good ending, but I’ve seen much better versions of this story. 7/10

Man. This movie is messed up. Much better than the US remake. Both have great acting. Just felt like the killer was much better written in this one. Also it wasn’t the BS ending that the US always does. Dark. Enjoyed it a lot.

you will gasp alot

Brilliant and eerie

A bit predictable ending, but besides that REALLY cool movie.

Spoorloos as it was originally called. Fascinating film with so much influence today. Still don’t fully think I understand it but that’s not a problem. Excellent performances & a great build of tension and stress throughout. Bit goofy that the director remade their own film later
