I usually like historical pieces but this one just wasn’t for me. I didn’t find it super engaging. I found more enjoyment simply googling Billie Holiday which I did do as this movie played in the background.

The United States vs. Billie Holiday
I didn’t like how the FBI agent storyline is so folded into her story, especially since that relationship wasn’t actually true. Most of the portrayal is accurate—her attitude and personality especially. Andra devoured the role and deserved far more recognition.
