I expected it to be more about Ma Rainey’s life, not Levi’s. It still gets a thumbs up because the visuals were too stunning.

I really struggled to get into this and I’m really annoyed ! The edits I was seeing looked so good. But I found myself not caring about the actual characters. The acting was insane not surprisingly at all.But really disappointing. Maybe I’m the problem not the film 😕
