It was a very confusing at the end

Unfortunately, a bevy of offscreen characters that only serve to complicate an already meandering plot and a sorely muddled ending rob it of its full potential.

when you watch a movie you’re automatically gonna side with the main character and what they see. So i think it’s interesting how they play with this in the movie, you don’t know if what you see is true or if you’re just perceiving Kate going crazy.

shit ending

It wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be but I will say the ending seemed rushed or at least unfinished. It makes sense to me in a way how the ending worked out especially since I looked up the summary of the book “The Turn of the Screw”, not that hard to wrap your brain around whether or not she’s crazy or it’s all real. Could be either just make up your own decision maybe? I want to hope that’s why the ending is so confusing, being either endings. Also one last thing, how come Kate’s Not Here by girl in red wasn’t played in the end credits I WAS WAITINGGGG FOR THAT TO COME ON

very confusing especially at the end. i could never tell what was supposed to be going on or what it was supposed to lead up to.

Miles was the only interesting part

I may or may not have only watched this because of finn.... Let me tell you it did not disappoint😭

Honestly horrible. I thought it was going to be amazing but it was too slow and confusing. Watch The Haunting of Bly Manor instead, same story but way better!

acting was good, but plot was really confusing :p
