I’ve never seen the original, but I bet it wasn’t filled with annoying self-aware “look how bad this movie is” kind of humor 5/10

Very very fun, definitely a more approachable Troma offering but with a lot of what classic Troma has to offer. Cool practicals, cool gore, pacing in the first act could’ve been better but it was a good time and I’m glad we caught it in theatres. Love that they cancelled medical debt as part of the marketing campaign.

What did I just witness? I appreciate what they were going for and see the cult following behind Troma, but I don't think it's for me. A fun yet random cast and a meaningful yet odd story. I wasn't into the humour, gore, or music, but like I said, I somewhat appreciate it. I would have given this a harsh 3/10, but production-wise, I love seeing the experimentation with the makeup, design, and set pieces.

this movie is HILARIOUS 💀 i was losing my mind laughing, it’s such a good remake/reimagining of toxic avenger that’s a bit smoother around the edges which i appreciated
i loved all the wacky characters, gross gore and insane logic, it was so so much fun

Gory and funny. Definitely feels like a comic book come to life. Taylour Paige ily😍

At the end of the day, this just wasn’t for me. I found it to be chaotic and uneven, but I can appreciate its campy and violent nature.

What a fucking ridiculous movie, it’s so stupid and silly that it becomes fun, I liked the gory aspect and I actually quite liked Peter Dinklage in this, I haven’t seen him perform this kind of role before. I nearly died of laughter when the son gets off the phone after thinking his dad died or was in trouble and then starts busting a fucking move bro!

My score: 6/10

Between meh and good. Very messed up, but funny and enjoyable for the most part. Definitely not for most audiences and not without its’ flaws
