This stylish remake is as unfairly maligned as the original, especially when it comes to complaints of gore and torture. This take on Leatherface is filled with dread and several sequences are horrific, particularly Vogel's updated meat hook scene.

God I LOVE this movie. I just rewatched it and it was still just as good. It’s the best in the entire Texas Chainsaw franchise IMO. Jessica Biel is THE final girl. I loved all the main cast in the beginning. Idk why people are saying it’s boring when it’s literally Amazing. 12/10

So far my favorite from the series personally, the pacing was decent & the ending felt the most optimistic which is refreshing, the changes to the family were eh but overall a good movie. I was rooting for mini jeb to escape his family, he stayed so kind despite his situation 😭

A prime example of people in horror movies making terrible decisions. The acting was amazing, which compensated for some of the bad writing/choices. I did enjoy it though! Rip Morgan I really wanted his ass to survive too😔

v frustrating watch. main character has the survival skills of a fart. they keep running into homes/buildings. like havent we learned our lesson countless times before. her judgement is terrible.

This is the first Texas Chainsaw movie I ever watched and continue to love it today.

This was not scary at all,good ideas tho like the part where the evil guy is wearing her bf face is chilling ,I do think they should’ve made it way scarier tho I just wish they included more jump

an absolute disgrace to call this TCM. how on earth was this the 70s? how did she cleave his arm off so easily? changed way too much of the original story. i could rant about this movie for hours. 1/10

I feel like there were ideas that elevated this story, but ultimately it felt very tame and predictable.

People actually like this one a lot compared to any other remakes and genuinely I don’t care for it. It was okay I just feel like I don’t care for the franchise as a whole.
