The Terminator

The special effects were groundbreaking, and very cool made (not in all scenes) but the story felt plain. It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I liked the bits of effects and cool achievements they made with this movie for SciFi. But I wouldn’t watch it a second time.

Nowhere near as great as the sequel and the story is quite a sludge to get through

You forget the age of the film and the aging effects (groundbreaking at the time) and focus on the film itself. It’s action packed genre defining and entertaining. Loved it growing up and loved it now

this movie is so sick and so iconic - arnold is actually so tuff in this movie and the action scenes are so fun

9/10 Really great action movie, sure there’s cheesy moments but that’s the charm of it for sure. There were scenes I think still hold up when it comes to the effects. Overall a classic movie that I’m glad I finally watched 🔥
