The Strangers: Prey at Night Reviews

Some might not think so, and I don’t blame you… but this is my favorite compared to the first movie. The way the strangers always seem to be one step ahead sends chills through my body.

The beginning was a little slow but once the suspense kicked in it had me hooked.

Acting and plot was decent. Was a lil bit scary for sure. Lowkey hate how stupid the characters are

Acting was decent but plot was a little meh. Standard slasher doesn’t do anything super original but the trademark of these movies is suspense and it does it well once again. I don’t regret a first watch but I don’t think I would watch it again.

i mean the characters are stupid which i hate when ppl in horror movies are like that but the pool scene was so good so i have to give it a thumbs up also tho the car engine would not have been able to run at the end so that was kinda dumb

I liked this movie but it was so hard seeing the characters miss opportunities of taking out the bad guy first ugh. I really liked the pool scene though haha.

As good as the first one imo!

A very cool and stylish sequel to the original (made 10 years later!). The original disturbed me (not in a good way) while this one (although slightly dumbed down) was a better viewing experience that I wouldn’t mind revisiting in the future.

- incredibly chilling, was scared to sleep at home by myself
- not sure how much I loved the ending
- sure did freak me out a little
- it’ll give u a good scare, but movie wise was only okay

It was mid. There was no real plot or reason to the killings and I wasn’t really invested in any of the characters. It was fun to watch but just wasn’t much good in any way of a story. Felt empty and just meh.
