The only thing slower than Alvin’s mower was the rate of storytelling. Excruciatingly slow for a fluff piece story.

Easily David Lynch’s most accessible film.
It’s simple, sincere and downright charming.
If you’ve ever spent time in the Midwest, you know these characters. 3.5 / 5 ⭐️

Proof that the simplest of storytelling can really make the greatest of films, it touched my soul to it’s core, definitely my Lynch’s favorite picture!

pretty charming and really wholesome, channels lynch’s non-demented side. i was invested in the entire journey, which lives and dies by the narrative’s simplicity and the kind-hearted lead. fantastic acting and writing, they were all straight

I’m not usually the type for these feel-good, “warm and fuzzy” films. This one is not especially…realistic at times, but I am not immune to a friendly old man.
Not exceptional, and out of Lynch’s usual wheelhouse, but his interest in the American gothic is what makes this work.

It was pretty good but not groundbreaking, the characters were well written. I just didn't feel much watching this movie.

The straight story is like a well deserved rest after a long days work,As it’s comforting,soothing and you’re sad when it ends.”The more years I have, The more they’ve lost. It has an incredible soundtrack to go along with its phenomenal acting. David Lynch is a genius RIP 9.2/10

Not your typical Lynch. I feel like it was his version of Paris, Texas. And maybe just as good. 9/10

Good movie - a bit slow but uplifting story.

This is a very strong movie by David Lynch and it’s not his usual style, but it still feels like a David Lynch movie.

Studied this one in film school. The entire film shot in sequence. It’s slow but interesting
