Proof that the simplest of storytelling can really make the greatest of films, it touched my soul to it’s core, definitely my Lynch’s favorite picture!

pretty charming and really wholesome, channels lynch’s non-demented side. i was invested in the entire journey, which lives and dies by the narrative’s simplicity and the kind-hearted lead. fantastic acting and writing, they were all straight

I’m not usually the type for these feel-good, “warm and fuzzy” films. This one is not especially…realistic at times, but I am not immune to a friendly old man.
Not exceptional, and out of Lynch’s usual wheelhouse, but his interest in the American gothic is what makes this work.
