The Silent Hour
really decent film.
love watching joel, he’s one of my favorite actors who really doesn’t get that much attention. deserves to be on bigger budget films.
first time ever seeing sandra act, and i fucking loved how well she played ava. i adored her.
beautiful cinematography all around. great composition and camera work. actually really loved how they shot almost the entire film in that building, actually didn’t feel annoyed by it tbh.
spectacular sound design, loved how immersive they made it with the no audio, enhancing the feeling of actually being deaf.
great storytelling, good plot twists, loved the ending and how attached frank and ava get after they finally survive. very wholesome moment.
