too many big actors, had to give them all screen time.
plots so unnecessary, wasted so much time. halle berry served little to no purpose for plot besides maybe girl boss moment.
this could have been an email.

8.0 - Tense, stylish, crime/heist thrillers are probably my favorite (nano?)genre. They just never really miss.
It’s super derivative & standardized but the chase scenes & robberies had me on the edge of my seat, & the score & pace had my pulse pounding. It just could have benefited from a little earlier resolution & a little less wrap around in the story.
Halle Berry still has it, no matter what Paul Adelstein & Tate Donovan imply. And so does Mark Ruffalo for that matter. And I fall for Monica Barbaro absolutely every time I’ve seen her on screen.
Not to mention, Barry Keoghan plays slimy & unhinged better than almost anyone out there. And I really like the understated, performance about more than just being hot, version of Chris Hemsworth.
With so many home runs in the cast, shoutout to Avy Kaufman, the real MVP (& has always been one of the best in the game).

I’m probably in the minority, but I didn’t even finish it.
Slow, and dare I say……a little boring. Feels like another one of those films where all the best bits were put in the trailer.
I’m sure others will absolutely love it but just not for me. I love a good heist film, theredoesn’t even have to be a lot of action so long as the dialogue keeps me interested. But Chris Hemsworth speaking 3 sentences every 25mins certainly doesn’t do that.
This is not HEAT. Now THAT is a heist movie.
Don’t listen to this grumpy ol man. Watch it, you’ll probably enjoy it.

Threw this on because a slick Hemsworth/Ruffalo heist flick sounded super fun for the weekend. I honestly loved this slick cat-and-mouse story; it brings major old-school thriller vibes with wild twists.
What Worked:
• Hemsworth and Ruffalo’s cool, gritty dynamic totally hooked me.
• Keoghan steals the show as a super unpredictable, wild card biker.
• The grounded heist planning feels super suspenseful without needing flashy effects.
The Friction:
• The romance subplot honestly felt tacked on and really dragged for me.
• The hacker side quest felt a bit clunky and slowed down the slick pacing.
Verdict:
Watch for a breezy, slick heist story. Skip if you need constant fast-paced action.
