7.2/The trailer is beautiful done, it really made me excited to go watch this movie. A visually stunning slow burner, where every frame looks like a painting. The end with the daughter is “funny” done but not to my liking. Some parts in the movie were also not realistic, like >

a touching film—but funny and slightly off-putting in that wonderfully almodóvar way. the english dialogue emphasizes his tendency to heighten, to take things just past the realm of reality, and it makes for a compelling movie. the visuals are also stunning—no surprise there!

3/5. I thought it would be better but it’s just overly slow and it’s a storyline that has been used so many times honestly. The idea was beautifully heartbreaking but execution was done horribly

Another melodramatic feel to this otherwise interesting story. It’s a deep dive into a re awakened friendship and the meaning of death. I’m just not sure it ever goes deep enough. Could have been more emotionally engaging but I enjoyed the discussion within the film.

i loved the color in this film.

As Im interested in palliative care and terminal illnesses this was a beautiful piece to reflect on death.

Honestly, intresting way to tell a story, but the acting was a bit cringe.

wasn't too fond of it initially, but as it kept going i warmed up to it. tilda was phenomenal and so was julianne, and turtorro is always a delight.

This is a slow movie but in a way that it should be slow. It will affect anyone that has watched a loved one die slowly.
