The Rental

this is what you missed last week on shameless 😧

The main plots have no connection to one another and never get resolved. The killer is irrelevant and has no real motive or ties to the main characters—you never even see their face. There’s nothing to think about or chew on after the movie ends, nor is it a campy slasher. 2/10

So the premise is good. The end end is good. But the climax was so bad. I mean some spoilers.

You have this whole incident you expect and it happens. Instead of psychological warfare and putting them against each other you just bludgeon them. No panache. No showmanship.

Great plot, great build up, great characters, disappointing ending, disappointing killer. Leaves me with many questions. Dave Franco my goat still 6.7/10
