An amazing movie that challenges norms and results in a surplus of philosophical criticism. For what little screen time he has comparatively with the younger version of his character, Ralph Fiennes (along with Winslet) gives a phenomenal performance. So did Kross, though they turned him into Heath Ledger halfway through and thought we wouldn’t notice.

Interesting early romance story. Pretty one dimensional in the first half but really weaves a web in the second half.

Ich hatte andere Vorstellungen, durch das Buch. Die Schauspieler haben eig gepasst, aber der Aufbau vom Film war doch etwas unpassend. Das Buch hatte eine andere Atmosphäre und Stimmung
