The Purple Rose of Cairo

Watched for my film class and can say I really enjoyed the movie. The main characters life was so sad and made me really hate her husband. I was really rooting for her so when the ending twist happened I was left upset / unsatisfied. Great movie with great writing and unique plot

What was that ending?! Got me invested and then put that ending on me?!

I watched this in film class and this was a unique, fun and emotional experience. All aspects of this film were great and even though the ending disappointed me at first I understand why as it illustrated the point of movies only allow us to escape for a bit. I loved this one.

rip cecilia you should’ve pulled a mickey 17. jokes aside a beautiful movie, but i wish its themes were explored more in depth

I really loved this movie but they really got me with this one. I’m boutta cry rn.
